Operation Red File
Operation Red File The Personal Safety Information Packet
The CSI Office on Aging is improving the way first responders help people in emergencies. Operation Red File provides folders that are designed to help senior citizens, and those with disabilities, keep their health history in one designated place, so that first responders can easily access medical records and medication history. This also helps avoid delays by attempting to get information from the patient.
But it’s not just for the senior set. A lot of people think it’s just for the elderly, it’s not. It’s for all ages whether it be children that are maybe on the spectrum, whether it be middle-aged people that have disabilities, or pre-existing conditions like diabetes or something like that. It’s a phenomenal program for them all to use.
The folder comes with a medical record form to make it easy to organize a loved one’s medical history, as well as helpful information on being prepared for an Emergency (fire, natural disaster, etc.) Our friendly folks in the Record's and Driver's License Departments have them available at no cost to you.
Operation Red File Packets are available at the Cassia County Sheriff's Office, 129 E 14th Street, Burley Idaho.
